Field vrs World

Pseudo-unique to Urvaius is that, in the field view, it is like a zoomed in view, and this is where the majority of fights and so on occur. Here, you can see the enemies and try to dodge them, but if they touch you then you go into the battle view. This is very much like ChronoCross for the PSX. I thought for the style of game play and the way the screen looks, this makes it more realistic. On the other hand we have the World view. Monsters only randomly appear as if by magic from the ground beneath you and with no warning (ok ok, just the randomly and no warning part) on the World view. This is because you are much smaller, more time is assumed to pass between one tile and another and it's basically assumed you can't see whats ahead of you until you're already there.
